Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver lessons to primary school students in accordance with the national curriculum
- Assess and record student progress, and provide feedback to parents and school management
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Education or relevant field
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and teaching standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
The primary teacher will work in a school environment, following the term dates and schedule set by the school. The role may involve some additional hours for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
