Job Duties:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in accordance with the national curriculum.

2. Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote learning and development.

3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of students.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

- Strong classroom management skills

- Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

- Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

- Work primarily within a school setting

- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

- Collaborative work environment with colleagues and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
