Protocol Education is seeking a motivated Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Harlow on a part time basis from January 2025 until the end of the academic year.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning in KS1 pupils.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported and valued.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils in developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy while encouraging creativity and exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure holistic development for every child.
  • Uphold and contribute to the school’s values, promoting a safe and stimulating learning environment.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive, enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
