A welcoming and thriving primary school in Harrow is seeking a fully qualified KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of their pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are motivated to achieve their best.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring lessons and interventions to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, activities, and staff development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire and develop young learners.
