Are you a qualified and enthusiastic teacher looking for flexible work in a variety of schools? Join our team as a Supply Teacher in Harrow and enjoy the opportunity to work across different schools, year groups, and subjects on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to primary or secondary classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment to ensure effective learning continues in the teacher's absence.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and build rapport with students and staff.
- Ensure classroom management and safety are maintained, following the school’s policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback to the school regarding the day’s lessons and student engagement.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in primary and/or secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different school environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
