About the Role:

As a Teacher, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing lessons that motivate and challenge students, ensuring they have the support and resources to succeed. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants and other school staff to plan, assess, and refine activities that foster student engagement and academic growth. Your role will involve creating a positive classroom atmosphere, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and nurturing a passion for learning among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum goals, making learning interactive and accessible for all students.
  • Classroom Leadership: Create a structured, respectful classroom environment that encourages focus and collaboration.
  • Student Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress, adapting instruction as necessary to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and staff members, actively contributing to planning and developing a cohesive curriculum.
  • Parental Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing insights on student progress and working together to support learning goals.
  • Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, INSET (In-Service Training) sessions, and annual appraisals, taking responsibility for continuous professional growth.
  • Inclusion and Support: Provide tailored support for students with special educational needs to ensure all students have opportunities to achieve.
