Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, qualified Primary School Teacher to join our team in Hartlepool. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment while managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practise

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching primary school students, with a strong track record of student progress
  • Experience in lesson planning and classroom management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a school setting
  • Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments
  • Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
