Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure understanding and development
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes students' academic and social growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate certificate in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours typically follow the school schedule
  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular duties
  • Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
