Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience working with primary school students is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning

Working Conditions:

Work in a primary school setting, regular school hours, potential for extracurricular activities or events outside of normal hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
