Job Duties:
The Primary TA in Hillingdon will be responsible for supporting teachers in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, assisting with behaviour management and conflict resolution, implementing phonics and reading support programmes, mentoring students, communicating clearly with staff and students, differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs, and facilitating lessons as required.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 2 or 3, as well as an EYFS Diploma.
Education:
Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 2 or 3, EYFS Diploma
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, be proficient in conflict resolution, have experience with phonics and reading support, possess mentoring abilities, excel in clear communication, be able to differentiate instruction effectively, and demonstrate competence in lesson facilitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in relevant areas of education and training are desirable.
