Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to primary school students across different subjects
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and promote a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Proven experience in teaching primary school students
  • Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in delivering remote or online learning
  • Specialist subject knowledge in areas such as Maths, Science, or English

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
