We are seeking passionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to join our team and work with various primary schools in Crawley. As a Supply Teacher, you will cover planned and unplanned teacher absences, bringing your teaching expertise and dedication to each classroom you step into. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for teachers looking for experience in diverse educational settings without a long-term commitment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and engage students across different age ranges (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
  • Maintain a positive and effective learning environment in the absence of the permanent class teacher.
  • Follow each school’s behavior management policies to ensure productive classroom behavior.
  • Quickly adapt to each school's routines, policies, and unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete attendance, and provide feedback to permanent staff on any significant issues or accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field; QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with primary-aged students is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management skills, adaptability, and effective communication skills.
  • Clearances: Enhanced DBS check or equivalent background checks are mandatory (this can be arranged through Protocol Education)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
