Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis in Croydon, Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary school students, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the varying needs and abilities of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and achievements

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with primary school students
  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time contract position
  • Expected to work flexible hours
  • Salary: £150 - £160 per day (PAYE)
