Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to primary school students without the need for planning
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with primary school students
  • Strong classroom management skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours in a primary school setting in Wandsworth, Greater London. Temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
