Primary EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Spalding

Job Type: Full-Time hours

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) teacher in delivering educational activities
  • Support the development of children aged 3-5 years old
  • Help create a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Work with small groups or individual children to provide additional support
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • First Aid certification (desirable)

 

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English

 

Experience:

Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Patience and flexibility

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children

 

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours may vary but expected to be full-time during school hours
  • Regular interaction with children and other staff members
  • Physical activities such as assisting in outdoor play and movement activities
