Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different year groups
  • Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans effectively
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience in teaching across primary or secondary education

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist subject knowledge

Working Conditions:

The role may require flexibility in working hours and locations. Work may involve standing for long periods and some lifting of materials. The teacher will work in a classroom environment with exposure to children and school-related activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
