Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to cover PPA time for teachers
  • Provide daily supply cover in the absence of regular teachers
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience in teaching primary or secondary education
  • Strong classroom management skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher
  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Safeguarding

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with regular school hours
  • May require travel to different schools within the Bromley area
  • Interact with students, school staff, and parents on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
