Job Duties:
The PPA Cover Teacher in Orpington will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across different subjects to cover for teachers' absence. This includes maintaining a positive learning environment, managing student behaviour, and ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with school guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience in teaching or covering lessons in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum, excellent communication skills, ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, good classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training or certification in specific subject areas
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school environment, following the school timetable, and collaborating with other teachers and staff members. The PPA Cover Teacher must adhere to school policies and procedures and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
