PPA Cover Teacher
Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a PPA Cover Teacher for a school in BS11. The school are looking for someone to be their teacher who will teach classes across the school to cover PPA, training and staff sickness. You will be working from the plans of other teachers and will have a weekly timetable meaning you will get the chance to build relationships with the children and support staff you work with. Whether you are an experienced Teacher looking to step away from the full time Class Teacher responsibilities or whether you are an ECT looking to gain experience across year groups, the role of a PPA cover teacher brings fun and flexibility and is a great way to develop your practice by learning from a wealth of staff no matter how experienced you are! This is a full time position however due to demand, part time options are available.

Flexi-Cover Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education are working with schools in the Bristol area to appoint committed, flexible Teaching Assistants to become a vital part of our support team. This role will suit someone who is looking to gain experience within different education settings and with children of different ages on a schedule that fits around them. You will have your own online diary which you will update so that we can get you work on any days you want it.
The Role;
• As a flexi-cover teaching assistant you will work across schools and year groups as and when needed. Either covering/supporting due to staff absence, extra staff needed or intervention support.
• To support and manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered.
• Working 1:1 as in-class support/working in small groups and 1:1 within SEND children for short periods of time where required
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

• Excellent communication skills; Verbal/written and reading comprehension
