We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Mentor to work with children with Special Educational Needs in a school based in Kingston Upon Thames
As a Learning Mentor you will be an integral part of the children’s educational journey, providing essential support to help them achieve their full potential, contributing to their personal and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to the children .
- Assist the children with their learning, social, and emotional development.
- Implement strategies and resources to meet the person centred and specific needs of the children
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the school's SEN team and classroom teacher.
- Monitor and record the children’s progress and provide feedback to the school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
