Post-16 Programme Lead SEN

We are recruiting a Post-16 Programme Lead for a SEND Collage setting in Leeds. If you are an experienced Head of year/ Department that is tired of mainstream setting this may be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead effective delivery of the programme and ensure framework is followed by all parties; adhere to the Preparation for Adulthood agenda, ensuring that all interns are making sufficient progress against their assigned outcomes and targets.
- Be the lead Assessor for Occupational Studies in the Workplace and ensure Job Coaches and Assistants are confident in delivery and assessment of relevant qualifications.
- Line-manage Job Coaches and Assistants and support the development of positive relationships with students, ensuring the programme helps to foster self-confidence, develop social and employability skills and increase independence.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery, building strong relationships with parents/ carers, external agencies such as other educational establishments, and ultimately, empower all interns to achieve their career goals.
- Ensure that each member of the job coach team is successfully supporting all aspects of the learner’s journey on the programme, ensuring the safety of students and that each young person is successfully progressing through the stages of the programme.
- Always have very high regard for the interns, seeing their strengths and talents and being ambitious for their futures.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Management experience (Required)
- A background in education (Required)
- Experience in a head of department/ year role (Desirable)
- Full time Availability (Required)
- Full UK driving licence (Required)
