Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the physics curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Physics

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching physics at secondary school level is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a school setting in Cambridge. The teacher will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
