Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons
  • Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and progress
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective curriculum
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of students during physical activities
  • Encourage and motivate students to participate and excel in sports and physical fitness
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of physical education principles and practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in sports coaching or fitness instruction
  • Experience coaching sports teams

Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. May involve outdoor activities and physical exertion.
