Protocol Education are recruiting for a Phonics Specialist within a Primary School in Shropshire.

The school is an independent primary school that recently received a "Good" rating in their Ofsted inspection. It is a one-form entry school with 292 students enrolled. The school's vision is to inspire every child with an enriching and challenging learning journey that is both enjoyable and relevant for their future. They aim to help their students become confident and caring individuals who work hard, embrace lifelong learning, and strive to be the best they can be in all they do.

The school is seeking a Phonics Specialist to support their KS1 students. This role involves working with small groups of students aged 4 to 8, using the RWI Phonics scheme. Responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson materials, with resources provided, but the preparation of activities in line with the RWI scheme is required. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering phonics sessions and a strong understanding of the KS1 and EYFS curriculum.

Role: Phonics Specialist

Location: Shropshire and Telford

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start date: October 2024

Qualifications: Level 2/3 Early Years Educator desired however not required if experienced in EYFS, SEND Certificate and other Phonics training qualifications also beneficial.
