Position: Phonics Intervention Assistant

Location: Lincoln, LN1,LN2,LN3 

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing phonics intervention programs tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.
  • Assisting students in developing phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and fluency through engaging activities and resources.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and educational specialists to identify students who require additional phonics support.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Providing regular feedback to teachers and school administrators regarding student performance and intervention outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on literacy development.
  • Strong knowledge of phonics instruction principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning challenges.
