Role Responsibilities for Teaching Assistants (TAs):
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Providing 1:1 and group support to students with different learning needs, including SEND.
  • Helping to implement individual learning plans for students, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
  • Assisting with classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers on individual development.
  • Promoting positive behavior and supporting students' social and emotional growth.

 

Role Responsibilities for Cover Supervisors:
As a Cover Supervisor, your role will involve:

  • Managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in a variety of subjects and ensuring students stay on task.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Providing support to students and offering guidance where necessary.
