Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in sports and physical activities
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improvement strategies
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Additional teaching qualifications are desirable
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of sports and physical education curriculum
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience coaching or playing sports at a competitive level
Working Conditions:
