The Role:
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a vital role in:

Providing emotional and behavioural support to students facing challenges.

Acting as a trusted point of contact for students, offering guidance and encouragement.

Supporting attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding strategies in collaboration with school staff.

Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to promote emotional regulation and resilience.

Helping students develop positive coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.

Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in pastoral care, youth work, social work, or education support.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students.

Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
