Part-Time Science Teacher (Monday & Tuesday) - Newcastle

Protocol Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant school in Newcastle (NE6) on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering engaging science lessons and want to make a positive impact on students' learning.

Key Details:

  • Position: Part-Time Science Teacher
  • Location: Newcastle
  • Working Days: Monday & Tuesday
  • Daily Rate: £120 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
  • Contract Duration: At least until Easter 2025
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Supporting students in developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members to support student progress.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science (biology, chemistry, physics).
  • Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education for all students.
