Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Reception students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in a Reception setting

Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Experience working in a diverse school environment

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position with Full-Time hours
  • Work in a school setting with young children

  • Attend occasional evening events or parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
