Job Duties:
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons for nursery-aged children
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for young learners
- Developing age-appropriate educational activities and resources
- Assessing and monitoring the progress of each child
- Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with nursery-aged children
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nursery Teacher
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
- First Aid certification
- Experience in working with children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced nursery setting. The teacher may need to stand for extended periods and participate in outdoor activities with the children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
