Nursery Teacher Greenwich Part Time

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for nursery-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to education
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with nursery-aged children
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a nursery setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time role, working hours may vary
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • Potential for additional duties such as parent meetings and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
