Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for nursery-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Assess and track children's development and progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with nursery-aged children
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nursery Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of child development theories and best practises in early childhood education
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certifications in early childhood education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) children

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours may vary, including occasional evenings for parent meetings or events
  • Physical stamina and patience required to work with young children
  • Ability to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
