Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to nursery-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop
  • Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with nursery-aged children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching nursery-aged children

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of early childhood development principles
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Early Years Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) children

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily indoors in a nursery school setting
  • Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings
  • Interact with children, parents, and other staff members on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
