Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and educational lessons for nursery-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, and provide feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with nursery-aged children
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience in a nursery setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
  • Passion for working with young children

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, 5 days a week
  • Contract-based role
