Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and educational lessons for nursery-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working with nursery-aged children

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Understanding of child development principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialist training in early childhood education
  • Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in a classroom setting. The nursery teacher will work full-time hours on a contract basis, following the school calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
