Job Duties:

As a Nursery Teacher in Bromley, your primary responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons to nursery-age children, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, assessing and monitoring children's progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues, and ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in your care.

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent) and relevant experience working with nursery-age children.

Education:

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team, proficiency in creating and implementing lesson plans, and a passion for working with young children.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in areas such as safeguarding, first aid, or special education would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced nursery environment, collaborating with other educators and childcare professionals. The role may involve some physical activity and the need to adapt to the individual needs of each child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
