About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner on a supply basis, you will provide essential support to young learners in early years settings, helping them develop key skills and encouraging a love of learning. Your role will include assisting with play-based activities, supporting children's emotional and social development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of educational activities, helping children to explore, learn, and grow.
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Help children develop their social, emotional, and physical skills through play.
- Ensure that the classroom and play areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues, providing updates on children's progress.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Ability to adapt to different nursery settings and support a diverse range of children.
