We are currently seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Assistants to join our pool of staff for assignments across multiple nurseries in the Harlow and Epping Forest areas.
Role Overview:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the daily operations of various nurseries, providing high-quality care and education to young children. This flexible role allows you to work in different nursery settings, gaining valuable experience and making a positive impact on children's early development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
- Help with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times.
- Monitor and ensure children's safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and nursery staff.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized nursery environment.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and interaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare.
- A warm, caring, and patient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different nursery environments.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Relevant childcare qualifications are advantageous.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
