- Driving Licence: Essential (due to the need to travel to various schools and nurseries)
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent for Teaching Assistants
- Nursery Nurse Qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education) for Nursery Nurses
- Experience working with children in a classroom or nursery setting is essential
- Experience in mainstream schools or nurseries is preferred
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Teaching Assistants or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for Nursery Nurses
- Experience or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is beneficial
- First Aid Training is desirable
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers, nursery staff, and children
Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Assistants:
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs
- Help prepare learning materials and resources
- Support students' social and emotional development
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents

Nursery Nurses:
- Support the development and learning of children within the Early Years setting
- Assist with daily routines and activities, ensuring the well-being of children
- Work with children to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
