Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the Louth area, Lincolnshire? Key Information:

  • Location: Louth, Lincolnshire
  • Salary: Competitive pay, based on experience
  • Flexible Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Driving Licence: Essential (due to the need to travel to various schools)

 

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential
  • Experience in a mainstream school is preferred
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and classroom management strategies
  • Specialised knowledge or experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) is beneficial, but not essential
  • First Aid Training is desirable
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers and pupils

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, catering to individual learning needs
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
  • Help children with their social and emotional development
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when necessary
