Job Description:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting. Your duties will include planning and implementing activities, observing and recording children's progress, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for the children.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities for children
  • Observe and assess children's development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SEN experience
  • Food Hygiene certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
