We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a local authority-maintained nursery that provides care and education for children aged 2-4 years. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to meet individual learning needs.
- Help create and maintain a safe and stimulating indoor and outdoor environment that inspires exploration and discovery.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development while fostering their confidence and independence.
- Prepare resources and activities that enhance children’s learning experiences.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and staff, sharing insights into children’s progress and well-being.
- Be an active, supportive member of the team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred).
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and helping them achieve their potential.
- Availability to work full-time, 5 days a week.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
