A Secondary School in Doncaster is looking for a Music Teacher to cover a long-term staff absence starting in September. This opportunity is open to both NQTs and Experienced Teachers.

This is a large secondary school that has a large and very well-regarded DT department. It is part of a medium sized academy trust and the
school is rated as being “Good” by OFSED, it is a welcoming and supportive academy, with high expectations that can offer first class opportunities to its pupils. About the role:

You will be teaching Music to key stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the UK National Curriculum. You will create innovative and imaginative lessons to increase engagement.

To be successful for this role, you will:

• Have experience in teaching music in a UK school or educational organisation
• Hold qualified Teacher Status
• Ideally have experience of teaching a wide age range of pupils within KS3 and KS4.
• Have previously, demonstrably improved pupils’ attainment.
• Be able to plan lessons
• Be passionate about language and the ongoing development of children
