Job Title: Qualified Music Teacher

Salary: £140 - £220 per day - depending on experience and qualifications 

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students
  • Assess and monitor students' progress
  • Develop and implement curriculum in line with educational standards
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular music activities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Music or related field
  • Experience teaching music to students of varying ages
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and practical skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Music or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using music technology and software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Music Education
  • Experience leading music ensembles or choirs
  • CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in music education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
