A school in ODoncaster is seeking a Music Teacher to join a highly successful and thriving music department. The successful candidate will be committed to outstanding teaching and learning. This is a contract position to start in the new year and work through to the summer but there may be the opportunity to continue beyond this and become permanent.

This is a large co-educational school that has been rated as "Good" by OFSTED. The school caters to children aged 11 to 16. Staff that we have placed into the shool have provided us with positive feedback about it being a supportive place to work. The school is well led and has shown a big growth in it's GCSE results, year on year for a number of years.
As an Music Teacher at the school, you will:
• Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons to children aged 11 to 16.
• Assess and provide feedback to students.
• Collaborate with other music department members in engaging in departmental activities.
• Utilise a range of teaching and learning styles to engage and challenge students.
• Maintain and develop high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
In order to qualify for the position, you will:
• Hold a relevant degree qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• Have experience teaching music.
• Be able to inspire and motivate students.
• Have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
