Music Teacher

Protocol Education are working closely with a high-performing secondary school in Swindon, SN3, and are seeking an exceptional and motivated Music Teacher to join their wonderful team in January 2025. Hours: Contractual – 32.5 hours

Basis: Full-Time

Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 per annum

 

Start date: Monday 6th January 2025.

Required:

  • QTS qualified
  • Previous experience teaching music
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their musical potential.
  • Organize and lead musical performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Ability to complete planning and marking in accordance with the music curriculum
  • Full time availability
  • Suitable references and an accurate and updated DBS check 

The outstanding candidate will:

  • Be excited and keen to teach and lead lessons and are an expert in their subject field
  • Have prior experience teaching especially GCSE content to a variety of learning abilities
  • Have an open-minded approach to teaching
  • Be supportive and positive toward students and their learning
  • Act as a role model for their students and display a contagious love for the subject.
