Music Teacher - Swindon

Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in Swindon to complete their staffing teams for this academic year.  With that in mind, we are looking for passionate, committed and enthusiastic Music teachers to positvely impact the lives and education of students across the area.

Start Date: ASAP

Closing Date: 4/10/24

Qualified Teachers paid to scale

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Music lessons to students

Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning

Establish a positive and supportive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Music principles

Education:

Degree in Music or related field

Experience:

Proven experience teaching Music at secondary school level

Strong subject knowledge 

Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent understanding of Music concepts and principles

Effective classroom management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Music specialism

Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilitiess
