Your Role as a Mental Health Support Worker:

  • Support KS3-4 students with mental health and emotional well-being.
  • Provide 1:1 support for students with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Help implement personalized progress plans.
  • Work alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and staff.

Requirements:

A passion for mental health support (no prior experience required).


Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS.


Strong communication skills and the ability to work with young people.


Based in Newcastle, Sunderland, or surrounding areas (Gateshead, Durham, North Tyneside).
