About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and committed individual to fill the role of Mental Health Support Worker. In this position, you will have the chance to work closely with children who have diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning disabilities, and those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will be part of a supportive local authority focused on delivering personalized support that helps each child build self-esteem, reach their goals, and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mental Health Support: Provide essential support to children with SEMH needs across various schools in South Shields.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
